Recently,
an advertisement that interests me a lot is an advertisement of Chinese milk
which is called “wang zai”. The whole advertisement is in Chinese. At first, a
little boy comes into the dining room after he plays outside. Suddenly, he sees
“wang zai” milk on the table. The can of the wang zai milk is in red and with a
cute little cartoon boy who has a big eyes and smile face on it. When the boy
see the can, he feel confused and says to the cartoon boy on the can that” why
are you looking at me, why are you always looking at me, if you keep looking at
me, I will drink you. After he drink it he feel enjoyable and says it is really
tastes good. It is a simple advertisement, and this kind of advertises is just
for attracting the young kids by its cute voice and cute cartoon logo. In
china, people all know that wang zai milk is a product of the wang wang company;
it is a very famous company of making the food of children. In the
advertisement, there are two reasons why they always shows people the logo, one
is because the cute cartoon logo is really attractive to the little kids, the
other reason is because they think the parents will knows it is a product of
their company.
There
is also another milk which is very popular in China called “te lun su”, and the
name of the milk is a Mongolian word which means “milk in a good quality”. This
milk is totally different from the “wang zai” milk, most adults like it because
people all believe that it is healthier than other milk. In the advertisement
of the “te lun su” milk, the main point is that it is good for people’s health,
and it uses a lot of data to improve this point of view. First of all, the
advertisement emphases the location of the factory, it says that the factory is
built on a very special place on 40th parallel of north latitude,
where is a place of Inner Mongolia. In this area both sunshine and land is one
of the world best place of to raise the milk cattle. The milk cattle of this
company are the best strains which are choosing from all over the world begin
in the year 2004. The feed of the cattle also have some different from the
other normal company, besides the local grass of Inner Mongolia, the feed also
includes the best grasses from 12 countries. The fringe benefits of the cows
make people feel jealous; they are the owner of the factory. They have their
own dining hall, bedroom and a room for milk, and people also give them some
music to make them feel relax. All the treatment of these cows is similar with
people. Nowadays, although the milk has already won a prize in the world as the
only Chinese milk in the list, they do not stop and give up improving
themselves.
In
this introduction of the “te lun su” milk, we can easily find that it is
totally different from the “wang wang” company’s advertisement. Not as the
first advertisement uses the cute voice and logo to attract kids, it uses a lot
of data to improve that it is better than other milk. The “meng niu” company is
also one of the most famous brands in China that most people have it every day.
“Te lun su” does not taste as good as “wang zai”, however, it catches adults’s
heart. Adults do not really care if the food they eat have brings them some
really good feelings; the only thing they cares about is if the food they eat
cloud brings some benefits to their bodies. From the whole advertisement, we
can see that all it includes like the location of the factory, the treatment of
the milk cattle, the prize they win in the world and the attitude they never
stop working is they want to show people that they have a very strict system
and they are the best choice in our country. There is also a detail that the
name of the mil is word “good quality milk” in Mongolian shows they are really
in a strong confidence. The slogan of the milk also shows that they are really
proud of their products that they say “not every milk can be named te lun su”.
Compare
the two advertisements, we can easily find that in China, children and adults
have two totally different food cultures. When children choose food, they just
think whether the advertisement is cute or not or whether the food taste good.
However, for adults, the most important thing they care is whether the food is
good for their health.
